OxyElite Pro Review

OxyElite Pro Results

Without a shadow of doubt, this is one of USP Labs best-selling products and so I decided to check this one out thoroughly – especially the OxyElite Pro results – by reviewing the manufacturer’s site and, in particular, reviewing a substantial number of forums and a bunch of other sources. I’ve probably spent pretty much a whole day checking this out so I hope you find the next few sections useful (interweaved with my occasional warped sense of humor in an attempt not to bore you to death).

And just as a reminder, please note that I am not a Doctor so before you take anything like this, please consult a qualified physician or doctor first and yes, I receive a commission if you buy OxyElite Pro through the links on this page. So here’s the deal :  I’ve pulled the information together for you in an effort to save you time from searching a gazillion web pages yourself and these are the results of my honest research.

Ok, onto the goody stuff….

What Will OxyElite Pro do for You?

Here’s the real deal: OxyElite’s unique difference to the vast majority of the products in the market is that it specifically targets subcutaneous fat. If you don’t know what that is, it’s the layer of fat that sits right under the skin and the fat that we see (kind of what you see on the beach).

So for us guys, we need to get rid of this as much as possible so we can develop our 6-packs and look truly fabulous. And for the ladies, it’s probably a question of getting rid of that really annoying excees belly fat or elsewhere such as the butt, thighs or flabby arms.

I know we don’t talk about this stuff a lot but heck, it’s really important! And on top of that, there is nothing greater than feeling good about yourself and your body. And remember healthy body = healthy mind.

So…., OxyElite Pro is NOT designed to reduce visceral fat which in reality, is the really dangerous stuff if you have too much of it. Don’t get me wrong, your body needs a good amount of visceral fat but too much around the heart or other vital organs is what will really damage your health in the long-term – imagine having your heart cosily wrapped in a Big Mac: doesn’t look good does it? So just keep  in mind that OxyElite Pro is not the right stuff to take for visceral fat.

Moving on to some more good stuff on OxyElite Pro…

  • It will help suppress your appetite (great news for folks with bad eating habits including “just one snack this afternoon” people and candy-cravers)
  • Vastly improve your energy levels
  • Won’t make you crash with severe withdrawal side-effects (as long as you take it properly..more on this later)
  • and last but not least, the important one: will literally burn your subcutaneous fat away.

So What Makes OxyElite Pro so Awesome?

OxyElite Pro is really a mix of three things and it’s natural ingredients give it the powerful effect it has. It’s a:

  • Super Thermogenic: a thermogenic is basically a stimulant that produces heat within the body. This is where the “burning” comes from.
  • Potent Stimulant: This is what improves your focus and attention during the day& basically picks your whole body up.
  • Fat Metabolizer: basically, this is related to increasing your body’s metabolism & therefore, speeds-up the fat-burning process.

OxyElite Pro is made up of SIX core ingredients which are almost all natural extracts from one plant or another. Some of them having really long names so don’t get freaked out by this, especially for your folks who are looking for a diet supplement and / or are not bodybuilders. So don’t even try to pronouce these:

1)   Bauhinia Purpurea (also known as “Purple Camel’s Foot” – don’t know why but I haven’t seen one of these at the zoo lately…duh)

In fact, it’s a flowering plant that is naturally found in South East Asia although it is cultivated in the US too. What it does is to stimulate the thyroid gland that produces hormones which, in turn, are responsible for regulating your metabolism. There are two hormones produced by what are known as the follicular cells of the thyroid gland: T3 also known “Triiodothyronine” and then there’s  T4 also known as “Thyroxine”.

Now what Bauhinia does is to increase the conversion of T4 hormones into T3 ones. Why? Because T3 is about 3-4 times more powerful than T4 hormones so therefore, this is where OxyElite Pro helps with your metabolism.

2)   Bacopa Monnieri

This is actually a herb native to North India and other Asian countries and has been used in India for centuries to boost mental focus and improve general brain cognitive functions like learning speed and improved memory. So this explains where you get the “good mood” effect when you take OxyElite Pro.

However, it’s also been shown to increase production of the above-mentioned T4 hormome. So you can pretty much guess what’s going on here: since you get more T4 and that’s combined with Bauhinia and bam!, you’ve got even more T3 !

3)    1,3 Dimethylamylamine  …… I told you not to try and pronounce it (also known as “Geranamine”)

OxyElite Pro Review Ad

There’s a few other names to this one including,…wait for it: “methylhexanamine”. Basically, it comes from the stem of the Geranium plant and is a mild stimulant and helps mental focus. It always sounds fishy when you hear the word stimulant but it has a similar safety profile as caffeine. And in it’s pure form, it’s even compliant under FDA law. However, and just for you to be aware, you should always use this stuff sensibly.

It’s just the same with drinking too much coffee: most of us would feel really wired after drinking a few gallons! Also, if you’re thinking of competing in events, you should know this stuff is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency since 2010. This compound is perfectly safe in small doses and if you follow indications strictly if you took it on it’s own.

4)   Cirsium Oligophyllum

Again, this is a Thistle plant found in East Asia and especially central Japan. This is the real “core” ingredient of OxyElite Pro since it’s the one responsible for targeting the subcutaneous fat in the body as opposed to the visceral fat. And the more of that you lose, the more overall weight you lose! It’s really that simple.

However, it doesn’t work in isolation. Rather it works in combination with caffeine and it’s the combination that produces these spectacular results….

5)   Caffeine

If you didn’t already know, caffeine is a well-known ingredient in weight loss pills and helps to increase your metabolism. But the problem is that so many of these supplements have crazy amounts of caffeine which (a) gets you all wired and worked-up and (b) when it wears off, leaves you with a huge ‘crash’ which is a bit like a hangover.

However, with OxyElite Pro, the caffeine content is around 45% (100 mg to be precise) but more importantly, is mainly present to provide synergy with the Cirsium Oligophyllum I mentioned above.

Ok, let’s move onto the final ingredient….

6)   Rauwolscine (also known Alpha Yohimbine)

Now this one is another biggy. Rauwolscine is not the same as ‘straight’ Yohimbine. The standard Yohimbine is far less effective than Rauwolscine but I’m not going into why because otherwise this could turn into a major science class!  Rauwolscine is a natural product of a number of evergreen tress and shrubs  mainly found in tropical areas. It’s job is to increase the amount of “norepinephrine” in your body.

Norepinephrine is pretty similar to adrenalin and is one of the natural “heating” elements in the body’s chemistry. Now this also explains why some people show an intolerence to it and it’s the main culprit of possible side-effects that OxyElite Pro: mainly the “jitters” which I cover in the section further below. But it’s a great component to weight-loss.

Is OxyElite Pro just for mean-looking Bodybuilders

and Mad Fitness Dudes / Dudettes?

The short answer is NO.  But there is a “but”.

Please don’t take this stuff if you’re going to continue eating pizzas at 2am in the morning, ordering double Big Macs’ every other day and sitting in the couch watching TV all day. There’s are NO pills in the market to cure this. You should take OxyElite Pro and combine it with a reasonable amount of exercise per day. And the more the better. Just by taking OxyElite Pro will wake you up out of your zombie state anyway (let’s face it, we all lapse into a zombie state sometimes). And combine it with an appropriate weight-loss diet plan, and you’ll notice that you weight will definitely come down.

OxyElite Pro Side Effects

Everyone worries about this and thank the Lord they do. And if you managed to read through the ingredients list above, you’d be forgiven to think that you’re going to be ingesting a few of the world’s weirdest extracts from some completely unknown Asian trees. So let’s get down to a couple of  side-effects that have been reported by users:

Increased sweating: this is pretty normal since this is a thermogenic supplement.

Getting the “jitters” or “shakes” or increased nervousness: now some people say it’s happened to them and others said they didn’t suffer at all. Like I mentioned before, this comes from the Rauwolscine ingredient and some people have a better tolerance to it than others.

We’re all different so there’s no sure way of figuring out what side-effects you’ll actually suffer from: if any at all. OxyElite Pro WILL give you a pretty big kick, that’s for sure and especially if you haven’t taken any of these supplements before. And by all evidence I can find, it’s going to take about a week to get used to so personally, I wouldn’t freak out before then. But even if you feel it’s not right for you, then just stop taking it – pure and simple.

So What’s the Verdict?

Overall, it certainly looks like the results from OxyElite Pro are impressive. Of all the Amazon buyers, a massive 73% gave the product a 4 or 5-star rating and is well-received when you check out the forums.

Remember to follow the instructions which are basically:

  • Start by taking just one pill a day before breakfast
  • Ramp it up to 3 pills per day on the 4th day
  • Try and make sure you workout around 5 days per week for best results
  • Stick to a healthy, low-calorie diet
  • You shouldn’t need to “stack” with other fat-burning supplements: you don’t need any more! OxyElite Pro is more than enough.
  • Don’t stay on this stuff for too long: normally 80 days is more than enough.

Dr. Oz and African Mango Extract Reviews

African Mango Plus ProductAfrican Mango Extract Reviews

You’ve probably heard quite a few things about this African Mango diet-supplement and it’s been causing quite a stir in the weight-loss industry. Even the infamous American Entertainment Doctor “Dr. Oz” has been adding it to his list of favorite supplements. So I decided to take a careful look at this and here’s what I found out.

What Is African Mango?

African Mango is actually a fruit grown from a tree which is found in various countries around Western Africa. African Mango is also known as “Irvingia gabonensis” because the name of the tree is, guess what….: the “Irvingia” Tree. Now the actual ‘magic’ lies in the seeds or “kernel” which are at the heart of the fruit itself but I’ll come back to that in a moment.

It’s interesting to note that the bark from the tree as well as the “kernel” has been used for medicinal purposes by folks in Cameroon for centuries. And today that’s still the case in many places around Africa since a lot of folks turn to natural remedies as opposed to modern-day medical treatments: this is partly down to cost, accessibility but greatly influenced by traditional values. Also, the “kernel” is also frequently used in many Cameroonian dishes to add flavoring and consistency to many local recipes.

I happen to know quite a bit about Western Africa since I worked there for a while  (a previous life) and can definitely tell you that the folks there go “natural” in almost everything they do. Take a trip down to a local market and you’d know what I mean…

How will African Mango Help Me ?

African Mango extract is a natural appetite-suppresor product and has shown promising results in:

  • Reducing weight
  • Improve Waist Reduction
  • Reducing your cholesterol levels
  • Improve blood sugar levels which in turn, helps to prevent diabetes.
  • Increase your metabolism and energy levels

That sounds like a pretty good list to me but almost a bit “too good to be true” so I continued digging deeper until I found what I was looking for….

Does African Mango Work?

As I mentioned earlier, African Mango extracts are widely used in the Western African diet and after spending hours and hours of tireless on and offline research, I finally tracked down the actual results of two scientific experiments that were carried out in 2005 and again, in 2008 to see if these extracts have genuine results or not. I was pretty shocked by the results….! Here are the average numbers from the 2008 study which ran over 10 weeks:

  • Initial weight: 220 lbs (99.79 kg)
  • After 4 weeks: 211 lbs (95.77 kg)
  • After 8 weeks: 200 lbs (90.91 kg)
  • After 10 weeks: 194 lbs (87.95 kg)

The results from the 2005 study (which ran for a shorter 4 weeks) were fairly similar:

  • Initial weight: 232 lbs (105.1 kg)
  • After 4 weeks: 223 lbs (101 kg)

The additional thing to note is that the people who went through the tests were asked not to change their usual eating habits or undertake exercise or anything like that. Now OK, the drops in weight aren’t huge BUT they are significant and you can only imagine the results when you add-in additional factors like eating healthy foods and undertaking exercise. Here are some more statistics from the 2008 experiment:

- The average waist size at the beginning was 41 inches (104 cm). By the end of week 10, it was down to approx 32 inches (82 cm)

- Total ‘plasma’ Cholesterol levels dropped from 153.21 to 85.33 (measured in Milligrams per Deciliter): that’s a massive drop of just over 44%

So far so good but is there anything missing that the numbers aren’t telling us? Well, as far as I can figure out, the only thing against these numbers really comes down to the number of people that were tested in the experiments. For example in the 2008 experiment, only 72 people went through the tests and personally, I’d be happier if there were more folks tested. Nevertheless, the results are pretty impressive and were carried-out in a controlled environment.

If you’re interested in learning more, here are the links to the TWO studies:

2008 : Laboratory of Nutrition and Nutritional Biochemisty, Yaoundé, Cameroon

2005: The Effect of Irvingia Gabonensis seeds on Body Weight and Blood Lipids of Obese Subjects in Cameroon

When searching for actual customer experience, again the results are pretty good. Around 64% of Amazon users gave the product a four or five star rating and of those who weren’t so satisfied only appear to have taken African Mango for a short time.  If you’re going to go for African Mango, then you need to take it for a little while to see results . In the experiments, they mentioned that there was a drop after 4 weeks but the most significant losses came-in after the 4-week period so make sure you stick to it for a while!

How Does African Mango Work?

In the seeds of the fruit, sometimes known as a “dika” seed, there are compounds that contain a considerable amount of quality fiber and healthy fats. The dika nut extract interacts with a hormone called “Leptin” which circulates in the bloodstream. This hormone is produced by the brain when the body  has had enough to eat. So when you take African Mango, not as much Leptin is released and hey presto!, you no longer have as much urge to reach for those mega-snacks.

You normally take African Mango a couple of times a day and around 20-30 minutes before breakfast and lunch.

Where Should I Buy African Mango?

In my view, the best value product is “African Mango Plus” since it comes with a diet and exercise program included plus, the 90-day money back guarantee is really useful. Like all diet supplements, you have to remember to what they really are: you need to use them in conjunction with a sensible diet and, as always, you should undertake some exercise. Even if you’re not used to exercising, just start gently and build it up: you don’t have to go mad at the gym from day one!

Also remember to take into account the results from the experiments above, especially the research conducted in 2008 which was a 10-week program (2½ months). So if you’re going to take a serious stab at the program, give yourself 3 months to see if it works out for you.
